6 Foods To Avoid During Pregnancy

There can be serious health risks for you and your child if you don’t consider your eating habits during pregnancy. Supporting the growth of your baby should be your first priority. Besides food, there are also many multivitamins that are good for this process.
However, some common foods you must avoid eating too much during pregnancy are: 

  • STREET FOOD

 One should be more careful about eating healthy and hygienic food, especially during pregnancy. The best option is to have home-made food, however, if you do feel like having something from outside, it is way less risky to have fresh food from a well-reputed eatery.
  • SUGARY FOODS

    Excess sugars such as ice-creams, chocolates, cakes, candies, etc. are not good as they lead to pregnancy discomforts. 

  • CAFFEINE

    A high intake of coffee, tea or other caffeine-related items must not be taken, as they are not good for health.

  • ALCOHOL

Drinking alcohol is not safe for pregnancy as it contributes to the risk of miscarriage and even stillbirth. 
  • PROCESSED FOODS

    Avoid fast food and processed foods and instead look out for those fat options that have omega-3, 6, 9 fatty acids such as olives, nuts, avocados and so on and so forth

  • RAW FOODS

    As they carry harmful bacteria and viruses that are not good for your health at this stage.  These can be raw shellfish, under-cooked meat, under-cooked eggs, raw sprouts etc
